After two hours flight and a short drive we finally arrived into what could be considered no less than a five star resort, which was the hunting camp. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the accommodations consisted of a private cabin with a living room, king size bed, shower, tub and all other amenities which you would get in a luxurious hotel room. The meals that were served to me in the ambiance of an international restaurant, prepared by a gourmet chef made me feel I was in a resort, not in a hunting camp. It definitely has European influence and flair, and the staff originates from all parts of the world and that mixture makes it unique.
The specialty of the senior guide, Beat Affolter, is beyond reproach. His knowledge of the terrain, the animals and ability to recognize a trophy, can give him the proud honor of being a master guide.
The country surrounding the reserve is fantastic, the people are beautiful, the animals are plentiful and the choice of them is yours.
